Spotify is a website/app that streams music. It’s one of the most popular music streaming platforms of this time, and most of its features are available in its “freemium” model. That being said, most of its money is made from subscriptions, and if people are using the free version, they make money using ads. The free version works very well on tablets and computers, mainly functioning fully with the ability to select specific songs, but it is very difficult to use on mobile, which makes it much more likely for people to upgrade their Spotify to Premium. With that they can remove ads, download music, and pick individual songs on mobile, with unlimited skips.
